There’s a lot of research and theory surrounding what makes a good team. I’m no expert by any means. And can really only speak to my own experience. I’ve worked for big and small companies. Been part of start-up teams and established teams. Some have been good, others not so good. But as I think back on the highlights of my career and the projects’ I’m proud of, there’s one constant. The people.
Because you see, I’m only as good as the people around me. Those who compliment my strengths. Are the best of the best in their areas of expertise. Push me to think differently. Make me smarter. Respect me as much as I respect them. And are people I genuinely like and enjoy being around.
At the end of the day, I was able to embark on this journey because of an amazing extended team. People who are experts in their field and helped me execute my vision.
